I'm not sure if I achieved the look I was going for... I'm not even a hundred percent sure what I was going for, lol. But well, here it is: a bubble in colours.

I'm not wild about this picture overall, but I had to post it because the arrangement of bubbles looks just like a dragonfly head. No?
We all like em!!
I've finally got both my new macro extension tubes from Santa (OK Amazon). So time to hide in the kitchen and take photos of odd things. Tonight's experiment was bubbles (my wife really won't understand this!)
All my kitchen project photos are in this album:-

The sun's out today. Haven't seen the sun in ages. I loved just standing outside and absorbing the rays, but then got jumpy and had to blow some bubbles.
I love the dark background here. It's the shaded corner of the building (an old lunatic asylum). That little bubble inside is doing strange things to the larger reflection - see all the scattering flecks inside!
It's a sweet and sensual experience to blow a bubble inside a bubble. You just pucker your lips and pop a bit of air through the surface. Amazing that it's so simple. Amazing that it's even possible. It's fun too. If the bubble surface is too thin, it just pops. POP!
I'll be a bit cryptic here, but this technique has given me ideas for something very beautiful. I'll need help with it (not saying what yet!), but if I can get it to work it's going to be better than anything I've done with bubbles before........
My photo is on this website!!
